History of Our Name
The Pennsville Memorial High School is the completion of a memorial to honor those who served in all wars from this district. The first unit of eighteen classrooms, a gymnasium, library, teacher's rooms, health and administrative suites, was dedicated as the Lower Penn's Neck Memorial School on September 8, 1950.
The completed unit, a six year high school with thirty-nine classrooms, a cafeteria, modern shops and large auditorium will offer each individual every opportunity to develop to his best possible achievement as well as a well rounded citizen. This beautiful building stands as a perpetual tribute from the citizens who have laid the foundation of progress and are establishing the ideals of the future.
