School Wide Spirit Week. We will celebrate Week of Respect with a school-wide Spirit Week (October 2nd - October 6th). Each day will be celebrated by themed clothing.
MONDAY- RESPECT FOR OTHERS WEAR: BLUE
Blue Shirt Day is a time when we ask everyone to wear a blue shirt and join together in solidarity to stop bullying and cyberbullying on the first Monday of each October.
TUESDAY-RESPECT YOURSELF WEAR: PINK OR RED
WEDNESDAY- RESPECT YOUR SCHOOL WEAR: SCHOOL COLORS- BLUE & GOLD OR SPIRIT WEAR
THURSDAY- RESPECT THE ENVIRONMENT WEAR: GREEN

The Pennsville Education Foundation will be holding a Meet-n-Greet tonight from 6:30-8:30PM @ the Shipyard. The plan is to hold it inside near where the Ping-Pong table is, have a banner, one of our signs and around 7:15 do a short “this is what we do” session, so people can put faces with a name. https://theshipyardnj.com/

Good Morning! Please see the attached welcome letter for the 23-24 school year. We are so excited to get the year started! As a reminder, schedules will be released tomorrow morning.
HUGE shoutout to the Ed Foundation for the donation of our brand new benches in front of the Middle School. It's been a long time since we've had a bench upgrade, and it completely changes the look of our entrance !! Many thanks for the support ! 🦅 🏫

The forecast for tonight has remained unchanged and with the potential of even more rain, we are postponing tonight's 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony and Dance and moving it to tomorrow June 13th. The ceremony is still scheduled for 6PM at Lou D'Angelo Stadium with the dance in the PVMS Middle School Cafeteria to follow. The forecast for tomorrow looks beautiful, 78 degrees and sunny, so we are hoping that it remains as such!

Yesterday we brought some awards home from the Salem County Math Showcase 2023 Event! Congratulations to our PVMS Math Showcase team for a great "showing" !
Just a friendly reminder that Library Books are due tomorrow, 5/24! Please keep looking to find any that you need to turn in, otherwise a fine will be owed. All other fines are due by June 2nd in order to participate in Field Day, and 8th grade activities such as the Promotion Ceremony and Dance. Thank you and have a great afternoon !
**REMINDER- Baseball Hat orders and money are due Friday, May 19th! Get those orders in so we can spread some PVMS pride on the hat days at the end of the year 🧢 🧢
Our spring concerts are starting this evening, with Orchestra at 7:00 in the High School Auditorium.
Band: May 23 at 7:00 , HS Auditorium
Choir: May 31 at 6:30 NOT 7:00, HS Auditorium.
Students that want to come out and watch the performance must be accompanied by an adult family member and remain sitting with him/her during the performance.

With State testing still ongoing today, there will be no Student Success Center this afternoon. We will resume on Wednesday.
Compliments of our food service provider and Acme, Students are able to get free breakfast for testing week in the cafeteria or the front lobby tomorrow, Thursday and Friday.
Just a reminder that since NJSLA testing didn’t take place today that it will begin tomorrow. Please have students bring chromebooks fully charged and a positive mindset ready to go for tomorrow!! After a rather unexpected hiccup we're excited to see everyone tomorrow !
All 6th-8th Graders please have a fully charged Chromebook for Monday–Friday's NJSLA Assessment. Friendly reminder that the state needs any unauthorized electronic device (including cell phones) must be powered off and properly stored during testing.
Please note that next week during NJSLA State Testing Week there will be no after school Student Success Center. Thanks and have a great weekend !
Huge thank you to the Ed Foundation for making our 8th Grade Field Trip to Citizens Bank Park on Wednesday possible ! Our students had a great time learning about the inner workings of event planning at a major professional sports venue. Thanks again and of course Go Phils ! ⚾️
Good morning PVMS - our book fair will take place next week Monday through Wednesday (4/24-4/26)! The Library will be open from 7:10-7:25 before school and from 2:15-3:15 after school on Monday - Wednesday. Students will also be visiting the book fair in their RTI classes during the day. Thank you to Mrs. Henderson for organizing! See attached image for more information.
